The hyperloop is a proposed high-speed public transportation system in which specialized pods are accelerating throughout a low-pressure tube to achieve speeds of 600+ miles per hour. The proposed transportation system will facilitate seamless travel between New York and Miami — two important hubs of commerce and vast communities.

Our project, the Manta, connects all modes of transportation leading to the hyperloop station located in Bayfront Park. The proposal features a slingshot-like massing with entry points extending towards heavily trafficked walkways and waterways, and a hilly activated rooftop to take in the water views and play on. The facade features a glass curtain wall with colorful panels to illuminate the interior space.
